ZebraDesigner V3 Versions and Features

 

• ZebraDesigner 3  enables you to quickly and easily create professional-looking labels and tags, from simple to complex formats.
• The intuitive Windows-based WYSIWYG interface allows for simplified, in-window designing and editing.
• The most recent version supports Zebra’s latest media offerings, along with improved wristband design and printing. 
• Bluetooth-connected printers are now supported via driver installation.
• Compatible with formats created in ZebraDesigner version 2.

ZebraDesigner 3 Essentials is a free version for basic barcode label design tools. You can download it directly from ZebraDesigner 3 Software: Support and Downloads web page. No license key is required, and you can use this software without restrictions. Refer to ZebraDesigner FAQ for more information.

ZebraDesigner 3 Professional offers the creation of complex label designs, including fixed or variable data, use of formulas, RFID support, database connectivity (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and text files), simple VB scripting, and data manipulation and concatenation. It requires the purchase of a one-time activation license key. The license key can be purchased online. Working with the software is described in the Video: Using ZebraDesigner V3.
 

IMPORTANT! Zebra strongly recommends each user keep the license key in a secure place.

• The reinstallation of already installed ZebraDesigner 3 professional to the new PC: Simply download the latest version of the software and install it on your new computer. De-activate the license on your old computer so it can be activated on your new computer. Instructions can be found in the article Activate and Deactivate ZebraDesigner Pro V3.
• The license reset: If your old PC crashed or is not accessible, you can ask for a license reset. You have to fill in the License Reset Request Form. 

NOTE ZebraDesigner software must be installed on each computer that will use it. If you are using the Professional edition, you will need to purchase a license for each computer running it.

 
ZebraDesigner for Developers 3 is a single software tool, available on ZebraDesigner for Developers 3: Support and Downloads page. You can easily create custom label and receipt templates, including dynamic length formats - these are available for receipt design only. It features a Windows-based interface that is intuitive to use. It supports 20 international languages. You can recall and print templates using ZPL commands or XML.

• The software requires the ZDesigner Windows driver v8.1 or later. This driver supports ZPL for Link-OS printers.
• ZebraDesigner for Developers 3 is compatible with formats created in ZebraDesigner for XML version 2.
