When starting the ZebraDesigner Professional V3 software, users may encounter a License File Corrupt error, and the application fails to start.
The following are steps to resolve this issue:
- Close the ZebraDesigner if it is still running.
- Navigate to the appropriate folder below for the version of ZebraDesigner 3 you are running.
| NOTE It may be necessary to view hidden items to see the folders |
For
ZebraDesigner v3.2.0.544 and earlier:
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Nalpeiron
For
ZebraDesigner v3.2.1.570 and later:
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\ProgramData\Zebra Technologies\ZebraDesigner 3\Nalpeiron
- Delete the contents in this folder, which typically consists of the following three files: *.cache, *.lic, and *.sinfo.
- Launch ZebraDesigner. The “License File Corrupt” error should no longer be displayed.
At this point, the application should start as usual. If you have the License Key for ZebraDesigner Professional V3, you may activate it. If not, you should be able to continue to use the application as ZebraDesigner Essentials V3.
