Google Account Removal before Resetting Zebra Android Device

Before you factory reset your Android GMS device, you should make sure that you remember your Google account credentials. If you do not remember them or if the person who set the credentials up left the company, you should delete the account before resetting the device.

Failing to do so will keep you locked out of the OS, and since FRP is active on Zebra devices, you would have to send the device for repair.
 

NOTE From Android 11 and later, make sure that you know your Secure Boot PIN as FRP will be enabled when the Secure Boot Pin is set up. Should you not know the Secure Boot PIN, disable it before performing the reset. For more information, see the article StageNow: Disable the Secure Start-up Option to Require PIN on Boot.

 

Procedure:
 

1. Open Android Settings.

2. Navigate to Accounts. 

3. Tap the existing Account.

 

4. Remove Account.

 

5. Confirm account removal.
