Disable MAC Randomization via MDM/EMM OEMConfig 13.1.0.1 and Up

Procedure:
 

1. Log in to Microsoft Intune.
2. Install the Zebra OEMConfig Powered by MX application from Managed Google Play Store.

3. Create a new Configuration Profile using Zebra OEMConfig Powered by MX (com.zebra.oemconfig.release).
4. Under Wireless and Network Configuration> Wireless LAN Configuration> Advanced Options> Advanced Option, add MACRandomization and set its value to 0 (disable).

5. Save and assign to target device group(s).
6. After a successful deployment, the OEMConfig client will report:

KEY: wlanConfig
MESSAGE: zvahandler completed
SEVERITY: SEVERITY_INFO
 

 

7. From Intune, the OEMConfig profile shows Succeeded.

8. On the device side, navigate to Settings> Network & internet> Wi-Fi> Connected Wi-Fi> Advanced> NETWORK DETAILS to check if device is using hard-coded or randomized MAC address.
