All Zebra Card Printers have information built into the Windows driver that will allow you to view the currently installed driver version and firmware version for the unit. For all printer models you will have to access to driver or Printer Properties to view this information and depending on your Windows operating system, you will have to find the printer to access the properties. If you run Windows XP, you will find you printer driver within Printers and Faxes (Click on the Start Menu, Click Control Panel, Find Printers and Faxes). On Windows Vista you will find your printers list through the Hardware and Sound (Click the Start Menu, Click Control Panel on the Right toolbar, and you should see "Printer" under Hardware and Sound). On Windows 7 you should find Devices and Printers right in the Start Menu on the right hand toolbar. If not, go into Control Panel and find Devices and Printers. Windows 8 will have Devices and Printers within Control Panel as well. Each product line has a slightly different method of accessing this information and is outlined below.
Zebra Value Class and Performance Class Printers (P100i, P110i, P110m, P120i, P330i, P330m, P430i):
Once you have accessed the printer properties using the instructions above, you will see a "Device Settings" tab, click on this tab. Once in the tab you will see several options which allow you to view information about the printer. Below are the instructions for finding the driver and firmware version on the Value Class and Performance Class Zebra Card Printers:
To view the driver version, click on "About..." and then click the Properties button that appears to the right and you will see your driver version listed:
To view the firmware version running on the printer, click on "Device Information..." and then click the Properties button that appears to the right and you will see your firmware version:
Current Drivers and firmware can always be found on your printer's support page on Zebra.com. Whenever issues are encountered it is always recommended to update both your printer driver and printer firmware to ensure you issue was not corrected by a more current release. Zebra ZXP Series 1 and ZXP Series 3:
The ZXP 1 and ZXP 3 printers have slightly different user interfaces and require a different method to view the driver and firmware versions. See below:
To view the driver version installed for the ZXP 1 or ZXP 3 you need to access the Printer Properties using the instructions above. Once in the Properties, you will see a "Printing Preferences" or "Preferences" button displayed towards the bottom of the General tab (the General tab is the initial window that opens when you enter the properties). Click on the Preferences button to open it up and you will see an "About" tab. Click on this tab to view the driver version currently installed:
To view the firmware version of a ZXP 1 or ZXP 3 Card Printer, you will have to enter the Printer Properties as mentioned above and similar to the Value Class and Performance Class printers, click on the "Device Settings" tab. You will see the firmware currently running on the printer displayed within this tab:

Zebra ZXP Series 7 and ZXP Series 8:
The ZXP Series 7 and ZXP Series 8 have a different user interface than all other Zebra Card Printers and require you to access the ZXP Toolbox to view the printer's information. You can find both the driver and firmware versions listed in the same location within the Toolbox. See below:
Access the printer properties of your printer and click on the "Device Information" tab. Once you are in the Device Information you will see the ZXP Toolbox button in the lower right of the dialog box, click on this to open the Toolbox:
Once in the ZXP Toolbox, you will see both your driver version and firmware version listed:
