Issue / QuestionModifying monochrome ribbon print speed with the +V command on Zebra EPCL Card Printers
Applicable ToEPCL enabled Zebra Card Printers
Resolution / Answer

Monochrome print quality can sometimes be improved by increasing or decreasing the speed at which the monochrome panel or monochrome ribbon prints on the card.

Monochrome print speed can be adjusted with a manual command in the “tools” section of the windows driver.

The command which controls the monochrome print speed is “+V value” where the value is a single number ranging from 1 to 9. The higher the number, the slower the print speed.
