Requirements
Zebra Setup Utility or ZebraNet Bridge (no purchase required).
Overview
The use of graphics on a label is a common practice and Zebra offers the following utilities to convert existing picture files for printer use. We recommend the Zebra Setup Utility or ZebraNet Bridge as an option for converting and downloading graphics to your Zebra printer.
Procedure
After Conversion
- Download the converted graphic to the printer.
- Print a list of the graphic to assure it was downloaded. If you have a printer with an LCD display, select List Graphics from the setup menu. Alternatively, you can send the following ZPL script to print the listing:
^XA^WDE:*.GRF^FS^XZ
This will print a listing of all graphics stored in the printer's flash memory. - Create a ZPL script to print the graphic on a label. (You can use the communications window in the Setup Utility.)
As an example, the graphics’ name is ZEBRALOG.GRF. You can print this graphic on to a label using the following ZPL script:
^XA^FO50,50^XGE:ZEBRALOG.GRF^FS^XZ
