Applicable To	Printer Driver Apply when the printer is offline and the printer has no response.

Resolution / Answer

Procedure:

On your PC, click Start and type cmd in the search box.
Right-click the Command Prompt option and click Run as administrator.
When the User Account Control dialog is prompted, click Yes. This will enable the command prompt with administrator access on the screen.
Type this command below and press Enter.
```
net stop spooler
```
This displays a status message that reports:
```
The Printer Spooler service is stopping.
```
When the services stopped, you will get a second status message:
```
The Print Spooler service was stopped successfully.
```
Type this command below and press Enter.
```
net start spooler
```
This displays a status message that reports:
```
The Printer Spooler service is starting.
```
Once the service has started, you will get a second status message:
```
The Print Spooler service was started successfully.
```
Type exit and press Enter to exit the Command Prompt.
