Sending ZPL Commands to a Printer: Methods and Instructions

Here are three methods to send ZPL commands to a printer:


Instructions for ZDesigner Driver v5:

  1. Open PC settings.
  2. Find Printers and Scanners.
  3. Select your printer and click Manage.

  1. Select Printing Preferences.
  2. Go to the Tools tab.

  1. Select Action.
  2. Choose Send file.
  3. Click the three dots button and select the file to send.
  4. Click Send to send the file to the printer.

For ZDesigner Driver v10:

  1. Open PC settings.
  2. Find Printers and Scanners.
  3. Select your printer and click Manage.
  4. Choose Printer Properties.
  5. Click Driver Settings.

  1. Click Settings on the left bar.
  2. Select Send file.
  3. Click the three dots and select the saved file.
  4. Click Send.

NOTE: ZPL commands can override printer settings.
