Overview
The ZM-Series printer supports multiple presentation modes based on a user's application and the options installed.
The typical functions are as follows:
Rewind Mode - Requires a Rewind Option and allows a user to rewind the labels on a Media Take Up spindle driven by a power rewind.
This is normally used for batch printing where the labels are applied or used remotely.

Tear-Off Mode - The printer presents the label gap at the tear bar allowing a user to tear the labels off when they come to rest after printing.
Cutter Mode - Requires a Cutter Option Module mounted on the front of the printer.
In this mode the label is printed then cut for immediate use. Cutter Issues? ZM-Series Printer Cutter Information and Problem Solutions
Power Peel (Peel Mode) - Requires the Power Peel Option that includes the power rewind spindle.
A peel module bends the backing so the label separates and is detected by a peel sensor that holds printing until the label is taken.
The label liner is mounted on a liner take up spindle and assists peel by pulling on the liner. Power Peel Issues?
